We can’t believe we started these all the way back in 2017! Over the last six years, our community has grown, we’ve gone through a pandemic and held meet ups over Zoom, and now we’re taking it outside again.

On the second Tuesday of every month throughout 2023, parents of a child with Type 1 Diabetes are invited to join Pam Durant and the Diapoint Community for a coffee and a chat about being a parent of a child living with Type 1 Diabetes.

Nobody understands the challenges you are facing better than another parent who is living through the same things. Sharing and connecting is a powerful way to support yourself, your child and your family.

If you have met another parent of a child with Type 1 before, you know that you immediately share a deep connection and speak the same language. If you are new to the Type 1 world, then what better time to start meeting others in the same situation?

Whether you are new to understanding diabetes, or you have been doing it for some time, know that you are not alone.

Join Pamela Durant, the mother of a child with Type 1 Diabetes and Managing Director of DiapointME, and the Diapoint Community. She is looking forward to connecting with you, hearing your stories and welcoming you to this special community of people touched by diabetes.

We will also share a different health topic every month. You will be guided through a journey of self care, mindfulness and other topics that are critical to support you as you care for your child. Learning everything about diabetes is so important, but taking care of yourself is also critical for your child’s success.
